REBRANDING
MATILDA'S JEWELRY WERE CREATED FOR THE WOMAN WHO VALUES MODERN SIMPLICITY AND PURPOSEFUL, INTENTIONAL DESIGN.
THE INTENTION FOR MATILDA'S REBRANDING WAS TO REINFORCE SOME OF THE BRAND CORE VALUES THROUGH ITS IMAGE AND COMMUNICATION.
IN OTHER WORDS, WE WANT TO BRING MORE LIFE TO MATILDA JEWELRY ITSELF - CLASSIC BUT MODERN, SOPHISTICATED AND SIMULTANEOUSLY DELICATE, DISCREET BUT WITH PERSONALITY.
MATILDA'S CORE IDENTITY INCLUDES A CLASSIC BOLD, MINIMAL CAPITAL FONT, DRAWING ATTENTION WITH ITS WEIGHT BUT IN A SIMPLE AND SUBTLE WAY THANKS TO ITS UNCOMPLICATED AND MINIMAL LINES. THE INCLUSION OF SERIF FONTS IN THE TYPOGRAPHIC GAME GIVES THE BRAND A FEMININE TOUCH, AND SIMULTANEOUSLY A MORE CLASSIC AND TIMELESS APPEAL. AS A WHOLE, THE BRAND THRIVES ON ITS TYPOGRAPHIC GAME, USING A SERIES OF FONTS WITH VINTAGE REFERENCES - BUT WITHOUT BEING TOO ELABORATE - TO ADD INTEREST AND BALANCE, PLAYING WITH DIFFERENT THICKNESSES, PROPORTIONS AND STYLES.
WE HAVE ALSO CREATED A HAND-DRAWN GRAPHIC UNIVERSE (ICONS AND TEXT) THAT REFERS TO THE CLASSIC LOOK AND FEEL OF THE BRAND, BUT ALSO TO BRING TO LIFE ONE OF THE MAIN VALUES OF THE BRAND: “THE PERSONAL TOUCH IN EVERYTHING THEY DO”.
